Any stage crew member current or new is welcome to come this weekend to help work on the Shakespeare in Hollywood set Saturday from 10 to 4 and Monday from 8 to 4. Please check with Garrick Hughes.


ATTN to all students riding bicycles to school. Please store you bike in the bike racks provided outside on the school grounds. Do not leave them in the front foyer of the building. Thank you.

Reminders to all seniors:  Holy Moses Cheesecake and Pie orders are due Friday, October 16th.  SELL, SELL, SELL!!!  This will help with the cost of your senior trip….

Attention students in grades 9 – 11.  The GHS Homecoming dance is scheduled for Thursday, October 15th from 7 – 9:30 PM in the small gym.  Tickets are now available, $7. if you buy them ahead of time, 10 at the door.  Homecoming Court will be announced at the dance and you must be present to win.

The theme this year is “when the lights go down in the city” and you’re encouraged to dress to impress!

See Mrs. Richter in the library or Student Council officers for tickets.

Guest permission slips are available in the HS office. They need to be returned to the HS office no later than Tuesday, October 12th, 2015.

Attention Juniors…  We will be meeting in room 318 on Tuesday and Wednesday at 630pm to prep for spirit week activities.  Please make every effort to be at both meetings and see Ms. Douglass with questions or concerns.

Attention Fall Driver education sign up deadline is today by 3pm. Weekend driving will begin this weekend. Student are  responsible to read the schedule and show up. Any questions see Mr.Davies.          

The following colleges will be in guidance:

Tuesday, October 13th at 12pm, Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology, which is located in Flushing, New York.  The most popular majors Transportation & Materials Moving, Mechanic & Repair Technologies, and Engineering Technologies

Thursday, October 15th at 11:30am, SUNY Maritime, which is located in Throggs Neck, New York.  The most popular majors are Engineering Technologies, Business/Marketing and Engineering.

If you would like to meet with any of these representatives, please get a pass from guidance.

Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Volleyball team for their 3 set victory against Stony Brook last night.  The Clippers won 25-19, 25-23, and 25-17. Paige Asimenios and Marina DeLuca combined for  12 kills and 8 aces, Mercedes Edwards served 6 aces and Sidney Mulvaney had 18 assists..  The team is 4-2 in league and has qualified for County playoffs with two league games left on their schedule.

Shakespeare will be giving away prizes in room 211 today.

The first ten people to arrive at 2:45 pm will receive their own monologue.

The celebration will begin at 2:45pm.
