Picture day is happening today in the auditorium during your English classes. Make sure to get your picture taken for your school ID.
The Homecoming dance is scheduled for next Thursday October 5th from 7 – 9:30 in the small gym. Tickets will go on sale Friday, Sept 29th. Tickets are $10 each if purchased before the dance or $15 at the door. See Mrs. Richter or Student Council officers – Cynthia Gonzalez, Gabby Pope, Miquel Torres, and Jacob Kahn – for tickets and information. Guest permission slips will be available in the HS library and must be returned to the HS office no later than Monday, October 2nd.
The next meeting for Student Council is Tuesday, October 3rd. All class officers in grades 9 – 12 are required to attend. Meeting will be held after school in the HS Library. See Mrs. Richter with questions.
Seniors – please sign up for the football concession stand on 9/28/17. Sign up is in the guidance office. Also, if you didn’t vote for the trip, please stop into guidance by lunchtime today. Votes will be tallied 8th period.
Attention Juniors…. Please see Ms. Douglass to order your Porter Day Junior T-shirt. The cost is $10 and all orders are due by Monday, October 2nd.

Attention Southold Robotics Club members: The meeting scheduled for this evening, Sept. 26th at 6:30pm has been cancelled. The next meeting will be Tuesday, October 3rd, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.
The next DECA Meeting will be on Tuesday, October 3rd at 3 pm in the Elementary Library. All students in grades 9-12 are welcome to join DECA. It’s not too late!! If you cannot make this meeting, please stop into the high school office and leave your email address.
Congratulations to the Boys Junior High Soccer team on their 4 to 1 win yesterday over Mattituck in their first game of the season. Jose Ramirez scored 3 goals and Hugo Deleon Campos had 1 goal. The defense and goalkeeping were excellent. All around it was a great team win.
Attention those student interested in being part of a stage crew, North Fork Community Theatre is looking for volunteers to be part of their stage crew in the upcoming production of Young Frankenstein. Please stop in and see Mrs. Peterson in the HS office if you are interested. It can count for community service hours !!!
