The following colleges will be in guidance:

Tomorrow at 11:45am – University of New Haven; which is located in West Haven, Connecticut.  The most popular majors are Security/Protective Services, Business/Marketing, Engineering and Visual & Performing Arts.

Thursday, November 2nd at 11am – Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology which is located in Flushing, New York.  The most popular majors are Transportations & Materials Moving, Transportation and Engineering.

If you would like to meet with any of these reps, please get a pass from guidance.


Attention National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society students, please be prepared to meet in room 212 immediately after school on Wednesday, November 1st, for Front Street Cleanup!


The next meeting of the Greenport Mathematics League will be Thursday morning at 7:15 am in Room 212.  Be there or be squared!!!


Attention acappella group!  Rehearsal for this week  is Wednesday at 3 pm!  Make sure you send in your recordings by the end of today.


Congratulations to the Boys Junior High Soccer team for their 10-0 victory over Southold yesterday in their final game of the season.  Goals were scored by Jose Ramirez, Brendan Syron, Justus Horton, Jamie Mendez, Christofer Rivas, and John Esquivel.  The boys had an outstanding season finishing with a record of 8 and 1.  The team scored 46 goals in 9 games.  21 of those goals were scored by Jose Ramirez, the team’s leading scorer.  Defensively, the team only allowed 5 goals the entire season.  Great season boys!


Just a reminder to all fall athletes. . .Sports Awards Assembly is tomorrow night at 6 pm in the auditorium, followed by light refreshments afterwards in the cafeteria. Hopefully all who are coming have RSVP’d.


Students, faculty and staff interested in donating blood in tomorrow’s blood drive please see Lena and Sam in the cafeteria today during period 5 to signup.
