Period 2 study hall has been moved from the NJROTC room to the HS Library. Please report there.

Today starts Spirit Week 2018.  Everyone should be dressed in Purple and Gold to kick off the week.  Tuesday is pajama day, Wednesday is TV Show Character Day. Thursday is Dress your best day and Friday wear your class shirt or anything to show your school spirit for Porter Day.

This year classes will be competing for points by having the most class members dressed each day for Spirit Week.  Every student dressed in purple and gold today will get a point for their class. Students may ask teachers who are participating for their points.  Every teacher is worth 10 points!

Sign up sheets for Porter Day activities have been sent to the class advisers.  They also have descriptions of the new goofy games we have planned.

Students in grades 7-12 who are interested in working on the HS yearbook should email Mrs. Kollen or stop by the elementary office and add your name to the sign up sheet.  Information will be sent out via school email as to when and where meetings will take place. Mrs. Kollen’s email is kollen@gufsd.org.

There will be a brief DECA Club meeting on Wednesday, September 26h after school in Mr. Holt’s room.

The first meeting of the Southold Robotics team is scheduled for tomorrow @ 7pm in the Southold Jr/Sr High School Library. All students

interested in joining the club MUST sign-up in the HS Office, by 3pm today, this includes last year’s members. New members are welcome.
