Johnathan Montgomery Medina Named Rotary Student of the Month for June

Congratulations to Johnathan Montgomery Medina on being named Rotary Student of the month for June.  Besides being the voice of Greenport every morning with the announcements since he was in 10th grade,  he has been an active member of several of Greenport’s extracurricular clubs including A Capella, Drama Club since 7th grade, and Interact.
He has helped direct this year’s school blood drives for LI Blood Services. He is also a member of our NJROTC program and has been a member of our football team. Outside of school he has been a part of Boy Scouts since 2nd grade and is now a youth leader for his troop. You may have seen him at North Fork Community Theatre’s Youth on Stage program.

Along with Little Creek, Johnathan is going to work at the school as a custodian this summer and in the fall will start attending SCCC in Riverhead. Johnathan isn’t sure what he wants to pursue as a career quite yet, but wants it to be somewhere in the field of history. Johnathan is sure that he wants to be on Broadway at some point in his adult life. He anticipates that being a part of BOCES Audio Production Program will prepare him for wherever his love of theater will take him.
