RE: Student Attendance

Dear Families,

We have established a new procedure for any student who is not able to attend their live, in-person scheduled day of school. It has come to our attention that due to a variety of factors some families may wish to keep a student home when they are scheduled to be in class.

This could be due to a student who may have the common cold, or some other factor. It is important for students to stay home when they are not feeling well for any reason. Therefore, in these situations a parent or guardian can contact the attendance office and inform the office that their child will be studying remotely for the day. The student is responsible to sign in, and conduct all manner of school work as a remote student.

FAMILIES MUST CONTACT THE ATTENDANCE OFFICE PRIOR TO 8:00 A.M. FOR THE STUDENT TO EARN THE ATTENDANCE CREDIT. OTHERWISE, STUDENTS WILL BE MARKED AS ABSENT ON THEIR RECORD.
