Attention Seniors: Reminder to all of you going on the Senior Trip: Please attend the Board of Education meeting scheduled for tonight. Please be there at 6:45 pm. The trip will be presented to the board for approval. If you plan going on the senior trip, please hand in your $50 deposit ASAP.

If you did not receive your Yankee Candle Fundraising packet, please pick it up in the guidance office.

Also, bring in your Chicken Dinner Permission Slips to Mrs. Hopkins or Mrs. Kollen ASAP. Don’t forget that you need to purchase a ticket from any GTA member.


There will be a yearbook meeting after school today in room 306.

Reminder that the combined Southold-Greenport drama Almost Maine will be hosted at Southold. Show dates are Friday 10/28 and Saturday 10/29 @ 7 pm and Sunday 10/30 @ 2 pm. Tickets ($10 adults/$6 students & seniors) will be on sale at the door.

7th and 8th are reminded to  please turn in any flower bulb orders and your deposit for class trip to Mrs. Taylor in her office by the end of next week.

Also, any 7th or 8th grade boy.  If you are interested in playing basketball, there will be a meeting this Thursday in the small gym at 2:45 p.m.​  If, for some reason, you cannot make the meeting, please see Coach Swain in the elementary office.


The school doctor will be here on Thursday, October 27. If you plan on playing a Winter sport, please check with Mrs. Mazzaferro or Mrs. Dinizio to see if you need a


physical and/or set up an appointment.  This will be the ONLY time before winter sports begin that physicals will be given.



Congratulations to the JH field hockey team with their 3-0 win over Hampton Bays.  Great job ladies!



Congratulations to the Boys Junior High Soccer team on their 7-3 victory yesterday over Southold.  Kevin Azama scored 4 goals, Steven Merino scored 2 goals, and


Adan Torres scored a goal.  The defense and the goalies played very well also.  It was an all around great team win!

Congratulations to Senior Jack Webster and Junior Matt Tuthill who both qualified to compete in the County golf tournament on November 1.  Good luck guys!


The Athletic Department is doing something new this year.  All Varsity Fall athletes will be recognized at a sports awards assembly on Wednesday, November 9 at 6 p.m. in the auditorium.  Please let Mrs. Dinizio know if you will be attending.  Dress to impress ~ you will be called on stage this year.

Good luck and congratulations to Seniors Charis, Caitlyn, Kylee, Paige, and Vivian of  the Girl’s Volleyball team.  Tonight they will take the court at home for the last time against Stony Brook at 4:30 in our Senior game. It has been a joy coaching you ladies and you will be missed.


The Varsity field hockey team would like to thank all of their fans who supported them yesterday during their senior game. They would especially like to thank Mr Golden and Mrs Dinizio for their help throughout the season. A big thank you to Mr. Martilotta for assisting in the pre game ceremony.

The Board of Education Meeting scheduled for tonight has been moved to Tuesday 10/25/2016 at 7 pm.


There will be a PTO meeting tonight at 5:30 pm.
