The following colleges will be in guidance this week:Today at 1:30pm is SUNY Alfred State; located in Alfred, New York.  The most popular majors are Business/Marketing, Engineering Technologies and Communication Technologies.Tomorrow at 11:15am is Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology; located in Flushing, New York.  The most popular majors are Transportation and Materials moving, Engineering technologies and Mechanic & Repair Technologies.Attention students in grades 9 – 12:  The next Student Council meeting is TODAY at 5:30 in the High School Library, rm 307.All class officers in grades 9 – 12 are required to attend.  All other interested students are welcome.Final details for Homecoming 2016, Spirit Week and the Pep Rally will be decided.Please see Mrs. Richter with questions.Congratulations to the Varsity field hockey team on their win  against Babylon and the JV boys soccer team on their win over Pierson  yesterday 3-2. Maycol Santos scored 2 goals and Johan Barranco scored 1. Assists were made by Jairo Crespin, Frank Ruiz and Johan Barrano. Tyler Cacace kept Pierson scoreless in the second half.

Tuesday, September 20th, 2016 B Day

The class of 2017 would like to thank Mr. Case, Ms. Ladalia, Ms. Edwards and the parents who helped make the senior class “indoor” BBQ a huge success!!!

The Sophomore class officers have been elected. Secretary is Xavier Kahn and treasurer is Collin Rossetti. Now that this is done it is time to order your class t shirts. There is a sign-up sheet in room 314. We need a logo, see Mr T or your class officers if you have an idea.

SAT Review classes start this evening with Math in room 211 form 7 pm to 8:30 pm.


Attention singers!!  Acappella auditions will be held TODAY at 3 pm in Mrs. Cabral’s music room!  Grades 7-12 are welcome to audition.  Come prepared to sing a short excerpt of your favorite song acappella.  Beat boxers come prepared to beatbox a short excerpt along to your favorite song.  See Mrs. Cabral with questions or conflicts.

JV FOOTBALL ~ Game moved to tomorrow.  Practice is canceled except for those who participated in the Varsity game.  For you there will be practice viewing the game film.

HS Back to School Night 9/19

High School Back to School Night  is scheduled on Monday, September 19th, 2016

The evening will start with a Principal’s Roundtable in the HS library at 5:45 pm.
Parents will be able to follow their student’s A Day schedule starting at 6:50 pm.
Please access your child’s schedule via the eschool parent portal or have your child share with you thier schedule.
