Melody Silie was a part of the All State Mixed Choir and spent the weekend in Rochester with some of the highest achieving high school vocalists and instrumentalists from the state of New York.   She was chosen based on audition.  It is a highly selective process and we are so proud of her achievement.  To put it into perspective, there were only 10 students representing the whole North Fork-1 from Southold, 1 from Mattituck and 7 from Riverhead.  The last time I had a vocalist selected for this was back in 2006-Sarah Morey (who is now a music teacher!).

Melody will be back in school on Tuesday morning and I would love for her to have our support on display for her.  If you have any time to have your students make signs to put on the walls in the lobby and adjoining hallways of the school she would be so appreciative!  You can have the kids post them anytime during the day tomorrow.  Thank you in advance!!
