Mr. Taylor would like to thank Mrs Charnews,  Miss Douglass and Mr Kulesa for being great chaperones.  He would also like to tell the students that they were very well behaved. It was a great trip yesterday.

Parent/Teacher conference forms are due by Friday. Please turn into Mrs. Peterson in the HS office.

Attention all 7th and 8th graders:  the JH Interact club is rolling out the red carpet Friday April 15th from 7-9 pm for the dance.  $10 admission, dress to impress.

Attention students in grades 7-12: The SADD Club will be hosting a Day of Silence on Friday April 15th.  If you would like to participate please see a SADD member to sign up.  You must sign up for April 14th to participate.

Those  students participating in the Day of Silence can pick their stickers up in the Cafeteria at 7:30 am.

SAT Review tonight for Critical Reading in Room 210 from 7 to 8:30 am.

At this will all 7th grade students taking the Math exam please report to room 212. Also will all 8th graders taking the Math exam please report to room 210. All other students please report to the auditorium. Teachers for periods 1 to 3, please follow the same routine as last week and report to the auditorium to supervise students.

Hey you!  Yeah you!  Are you planning on participating in a sport next Fall?  Will your current physical expire before then?  Will you be sitting on the sidelines watching because you’ve disregarded this announcement?  NOW is the time to stop in and see Mrs. Dinizio 1) because she really likes seeing all of you and, 2) because you really should set up an appointment to have the school doctor (who happens to be her son) do your sports physical for next year.

It takes a minute to win it! Eight days are left to help the School Garden win a grant of up to twenty thousand dollars! Look for posters with QR codes and website info. Use your smartphone or Chromebook. Click with your fingers. Then cross them. Go, Greenport!

There will be a Congressional Debate tomorrow at 7:30 PM at the Southold High School Auditorium between Anna Throne-Holst and Dave Calone. Anna and Dave are seeking the Democratic Party’s nomination in the June 28, 2016 primary. The winner of that primary will run for the First Congressional District seat in November. This is an excellent opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to witness, first hand, the Democratic process in action.

Reminder that this week starts the SAT review classes. Dates and times are posted on the bulletin board across from the HS office as well as on the district calendar on our website.

Also, please remember to return the parent/teacher sign up forms to the HS office with the teachers you parents would like to meet with. Conferences will be Thursday, April 21st in the evening and Friday April 22nd in the afternoon.
