Maia Mazzaferro Selected for NYSCAME All-County

posted in: High School News | 0

Congratulations to Maia Mazzaferro, a senior here at GHS, on her selection to perform in the NYSCAME All County Music Festival.  This is the 2nd year in a row that Maia has been chosen to join this prestigious group of singers selected from schools throughout Suffolk County.  She is the only student that has represented our school for the past 2 years.  She will have participated in 3 rehearsals leading up to the Concert held at Northport HS on November 18th.  Her talents and dedication to music have awarded her many wonderful opportunities over her career here at Greenport School.  She has attended many NYSSMA and SCMEA festivals throughout her schooling and is currently the leader of the Acappella Group, which she has been a member of since the 7th Grade.  We are all very proud of her musical accomplishments and wish her luck in her performance on the 18th!
